My name is Raone, I had never had a cat before, because I always heard bad things about them and I ended up creating a prejudice. However, at my work, a kitten appeared that was always rummaging through the garbage in search of food. One day, I decided to take a bag of food and started to feed it. One rainy day, she turned up all wet and shivering, so I decided to take her home. As time went on, I noticed that she was putting on weight and soon found out that I was pregnant. Three puppies were born: two females and one male. At first, I tried to give them away, but I ended up keeping them all.
Two months later, another cat showed up at my work begging for food and water. I took care of her too, but I didn't want to take her to my house, after all, I already had four cats. However, my boss started to pick on her and even talked about killing her. So I decided to take her home and it turned out that she was also pregnant. Only one female was born, which scared me, because I thought she could still have babies trapped in her belly. I rushed to the vet to do an emergency C-section, but luckily, it was just a puppy. And, of course, I also ended up with her.
That's how I became "the crazy cat", as I often joke. I decided to create this blog to share some of my knowledge with those who are first-time gatekeepers. After all, the experience I had with these kittens changed my life and my perception of these adorable animals.
So if you're thinking about adopting a cat, fear not. They are amazing, affectionate and very independent animals. But, of course, like any pet, they require care and attention. Adequate food, regular vet visits, toys and a safe and comfortable environment are essential to ensure your kitten's health and well-being.
In addition, it is important to remember that cats are territorial animals and may need time to adapt to their new home and the presence of other animals. But, with patience and dedication, you will surely fall in love with these amazing felines.
So if you're thinking of adopting a cat, don't worry. With love, affection and the necessary care, you will have a faithful and caring companion for many years to come. And if you're already a first-time cat owner, share your experiences with us and help other cat lovers take better care of their felines.
